Dammit you guys :/ You could have told me that upgrading firmware can brick my phone! I have no idea what to do now, it turns on, blinks and turns off immediately. I have tried disconnecting the battery, flashing again as described in my ZENITH DVD5201 Service manual, restoring factory settings. Phone seems quite messed up now. For those fresh with my case let me describe you what steps I have made so far. It all begun when I tried to change firmware using service packages (procedure from my ACER 2200C Service manual, so: removing battery, reconnecting,running Phoenix (from PhoenixSlayer), selecting NO CONNECTION, then flashing prommer, selecting software. In the middle of service procedure – bam – phone reboots and turns off immediately. I then tried to proceed with flashing as described in service manual – I turned off the phone again, removed battery, and upgraded in N/C mode this time with Refubrish rather than Restore User Product… it looked as it was kind of working – the phone started up nicely… but it took about a minute before it turned off again in the same way. Tried few more times – no luck so far. I am really pissed right now – I have followed Service Manual exactly and I was sure it won’t let me damage my device…what should I do? Inb4: “read service manual”, “you’re an idiot”, ‘RTFM”. I REALLY TRIED.
